PVCC ANNOUNCEMENT: Scholarship Opportunities for PVCC Students

PVCC has extended the deadlines for two great scholarship opportunities 
for our students.  Students are encouraged to apply.  Both applications 
are available via the Financial Aid website at 
http://www.pvc.maricopa.edu/finaid/fa_search.htm or click the following 
links to print the applications.  If there are any questions please feel 
free to contact the PVCC Office of Financial Assistance located in KSC 
101 or call 602-787-7100.

    * Applicant must be female
    * *Live in Phoenix*
    * Be a U.S. Citizen
    * Have been out of high school for three or more years before
      continuing their education
    * Demonstrate financial need by completing a /Free Application for
      Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)/
    * Qualify for In-State tuition
    * Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 /based on college or high school
      unofficial transcripts/
    * Be an undergraduate student registered in a degree or certificate
      program at PVCC
    * Provide two letters of reference

Thomas McLaughlin Scholarship

    * Demonstrate financial need by completing a /Free Application for
      Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)/
    * Have a minimum GPA of 2.75 based on 12 credit hours earned at PVCC
    * Enrolled as a full time student (12 or more credit hours)
    * Currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree
    * Involved in community services
